Textile Artist & Designer

I am a Melbourne based textile artist and designer with a particular interest in knitted textiles, and a focus on designing knitwear and larger scale installations. Photography is an integral part of my textile practice, with my photos often being included in pieces, and by the documentation of my process using one of my medium format film cameras and the completed pieces being documented on film.

As a passionate supporter of Australian wool production, my goal is to exclusively use Australian wool yarns and advocate for the local manufacturing of wool yarns and textiles. Additionally, I am focussed on the ways in which I can assist with the reduction of pre-consumer textile waste and many of my pieces highlight this – through material choice, design, and the ways in which I work.

A recent graduate of the Bachelor of Textiles (Design) from RMIT, I am currently studying the Textiles Design Honours.
My graduate piece epoch was included in the RMIT Fashion and Textiles graduate show Departures and can be viewed here alongside some selected projects from the past 3 years.
